The Pillowta Platform is made available by M/S PILLOWTA (“our”, “us”, “we”, “Company”), having its registered office at 003, Jyoti Vihar, Ward no 22, Near ST Mary’s Senior Secondary Convent School, Raghunathpur, Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha 757107. In order to provide you with access to our Platform, Products, and Information, we need to collect various data and information from you. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) details how this data and information are collected, retained, shared, stored, and processed by us. We may revise this Policy as well as update the Platform from time to time; please visit this page regularly to take notice of any changes we make, and continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes consent to the updated policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please stop using our Platform immediately. This Policy incorporates and includes our Terms of Use available at www.pillowta.com, and words and phrases not defined in this Policy shall have the same meaning as in the Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the data you provide only to ensure that we can provide you access to our Platform and Products in the best manner possible. By using the Platform, you consent to providing us with data in the ways listed below.
1.1 Data added by you
We collect the information that you actively input into the Platform:
a) Pillowta Account data: We collect the data you provide to us when you create or update your Pillowta Account, or while making purchases from the Platform as a guest, including your name, phone number, email ID, delivery address, date of birth, unique User ID, and password (as applicable). We may require you to share further data on a later date to confirm the veracity of your information or pursuant to any additional features added to the Platform. We may also request you to share data pertaining to gender, sexual preferences, and sexual orientation on the Platform to access certain services, receive content, or as part of surveys; this shall not be mandatory, and failure to provide such personal data shall only affect your ability to access such specific services or content. Any such information, including queries and information for any expert content or services, provided to us voluntarily through our Platform, e-mail, and other modes of communication to access such services, may be shared or posted by us on our Platform and/or social media pages anonymously.
b) Financial data: We collect the data you provide to us when you place an order for Products on our Platform, which may include masked credit or debit card details, UPI or e-wallet identifiers, and limited banking details as processed through our payment gateway partners; full payment details are typically processed and stored by our payment service providers and not directly by us.
c) Feedback and other data: We collect and record (a) any emails you write to us; (b) any calls or voice messages you make to our customer service personnel; (c) any data you submit to us on social media and other modes of communication/platforms; (d) data you input when you participate in our referral programs or use any discount codes offered by us; and (e) feedback or comments you provide to us on the Platform, including any crash reports and lag reports generated by you.
1.2 Data collected from the use of the Platform
We collect the following data generated from your use of the Platform:
a) Platform usage data: We collect data on your interaction with our Platform, including access dates and times, features or pages viewed, crashes and other system activity, type of browser used to access the Platform, and third-party sites or services used before or in the course of interacting with our Platform.
b) Device data: We may collect data about the devices used to access our Platform, including hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, serial numbers, browser type, mobile app details (if applicable), file names and types, and plugins.
c) Purchase data: We collect and retain data regarding the Products you add to your cart, purchases from the Platform, the amount spent on the Platform, and the payment methods used to make purchases on the Platform.
d) Cookies, log files, web beacons and tracking pixels: We also collect information through the use of cookies, log files, web beacons and tracking pixels, and similar technologies to understand how you navigate through the Platform and to learn your preferences. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and apps recognize your browser, and we may use both session cookies (which disappear after you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain after you close your browser and may be accessed every time you use the Platform). stamps, while web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Platform.
1.3 Information received from third parties
We may work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, technical sub-contractors, analytics providers such as Google Analytics, and search information providers) and may receive information about you from such sources. Such data may be shared internally and combined with data collected under Section 1.2 above.
2. Use Of Collected Data
The data we collect from you will be used for the following purposes:
2.1 For enabling the Platform
We use the data collected to personalize, maintain, and improve our Platform, including to:
a) Create and update your Pillowta Account. b) Fulfill any orders placed for Products on the Platform (including processing your payment information, arranging shipping, and providing you with invoices and order confirmations, and/or delivering the products to you). c) Provide information and educational content on sexual health and wellness. d) Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud. e) Perform internal operations necessary to provide and improve our Platform, including troubleshooting software bugs and operational problems, conducting data analysis, testing and research, and monitoring and analyzing usage and activity trends. f) Improve the functionality, performance, and user experience of the Platform.
2.2 For creating detailed user profiles
We may combine and aggregate data collected from you on our Platform, through e-mail, and other mediums in order to create more detailed user profiles to understand you better and attempt to provide you with better Products, Information, content, and services. The use of any information shared by you through one mode of communication/platform will not necessarily be limited solely to that mode of communication/platform.
2.3 For research and development
We use the data so collected for research, product development, piloting new Products, and improving our UI/UX experience to ultimately improve how you experience the Platform.
2.4 For customer support and communication
We use the information to provide customer support, train our customer service executives, and respond to your queries and requests. We may add features that allow you to call or message us through the Platform, and we may also need to contact you through the Platform, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other channels for service-related communications.
2.5 For marketing and outreach
We use the data we collect to market our Products and brand, including sharing your feedback, ratings, and screen names for promotional and marketing purposes in an anonymised or pseudonymised manner. 3. Sharing Of Data
We do not share any personal data about you with any third parties unless necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
3.1 Service Providers
We work with third party service providers to execute various functionalities of the Platform, including but not limited to entities such as Shopify (or similar e‑commerce platforms), payment gateway providers, logistics partners, analytics providers and marketing partners, and we may share your information with such service providers to help us provide you with our Products, Information and other services on the Platform.
3.2 Change in Control
While negotiating or in relation to a change of corporate control, such as a restructuring, merger, or sale of our assets, we may have to disclose our databases and information we have stored in the course of our operations, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law.
3.3 Law Enforcement
If any governmental authority or law enforcement officers request or require any information and we think disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process, we may disclose the information we collect.

4.1 Right to rectification
If any personal data provided by you is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, then you shall have the right to provide us with accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date data and have us rectify such data at our end within a reasonable time. We urge you to ensure that you always provide us with correct information to ensure that your use of our Platform is uninterrupted.
4.2 Right to erasure
You have the right to demand that we erase your personal data, and we will do so without undue delay, provided that the data is no longer required by us and there is no legal requirement to retain the data; multiple legal bases may exist in parallel, and we may still have to retain certain personal data despite your request.
4.3 Right to confirmation and access
You can seek a confirmation from us as to whether any of your personal data is being processed or has been processed, and if so, you may ask us for a brief summary of such processed data and our processing activities, subject to applicable law and reasonable limitations.
4.4 Right to withdraw consent
You may write to us to withdraw your consent to any specific data processing. However, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Platform or certain services on the Platform if you withdraw your consent, and despite your withdrawal request, we may continue to retain and store your data as provided in Section 6 (Data Retention) below, where we have a lawful basis to do so.
4.5 Right to opt-out of marketing
You may opt out of receiving promotional and marketing emails or messages from us by writing to us or by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Even if you opt out of promotional and marketing messages, we will still send you transactional messages about your purchases and important service communications.

By accessing and using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy. By setting up a Pillowta Account and/or purchasing any Products, you consent to our processing, storage, usage, and sharing of data provided by you pursuant to this Policy. If you do not agree with any of the terms of this Policy or the Terms of Use or wish to revoke any consent you have provided to us, please write to us at support@pillowta.com; if you revoke any mandatory permissions, then we may
have to cease providing you with access to the Platform and the Products, Information, and services therein.
6. Data Retention
We shall retain the information you provide to facilitate your smooth and uninterrupted use of the Platform and to (i) provide, improve, and personalize our Platform; (ii) contact you about your Pillowta Account; (iii) provide customer service and personalise our marketing communications; and (iv) prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities. We do not retain your personal data for longer than required for the purpose for which the information may be lawfully used, subject to any statutory retention obligations under applicable Indian law.
7. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure the protection of personal data, and the transfer of personal data between your end device and us is generally carried out in an encrypted form (for example, using TLS encryption). If you communicate with us by e-mail, access by third parties cannot be completely ruled out, and no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure or reliable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Personal data we hold about you may be transferred to other countries outside your residential country (including where our hosting, payment processing, or analytics providers are located) for any of the purposes described in this Policy. 9.1 Our website is directed to be used by adults who are 18 years of age and above only and if you do not fulfil this condition, you should not access our site, make any purchase, register, or submit personal data to us. We and our associates/affiliates do not knowingly collect information from minors.
